Bound: Garden of Eden 2

Yay! I’m so excited to say that Bound has been submitted to the editors at Amazon and should be released for purchase any day now.

Writing the second book in this series was certainly an interesting experience. The first book had roots in some of my own experiences and in some ways it almost wrote itself because of that. With Bound I had the opportunity to really get to know some of the other characters in the series and experience new things with them.

All my stories so far have had a running theme of Dominance and submission, which, as they say, is probably more telling of the author than the characters. I love exploring this particular dynamic from various angles as it’s something that I find fascinating and enjoyable. The fun thing about writing stories, however, is that I’m forced to explore whole new ideas and experiences in order to write them. My research has so far been enlightening to say the least!

In case you’ve already read the first book, Devoted, I should explain that Bound runs alongside and even slightly before (rather than after) the first one, giving a different view point on the events that occur.

If you’re now screaming at your screen- ‘No! I wanted to know more about the ending of the first one!’ Don’t panic! There are more clues in Bound to add to your theories from GOE 1.

As ever, if you do end up reading my stories, please let me know what you think! I’m always interested in what people enjoy and learning ways I can develop my writing.

Remember, live every moment to the fullest. But, when you can’t do that because you’re like, waiting for a bus or whatever, maybe read some erotica instead.

What’s In A Name?

So, I’ve been considering names for some of my upcoming stories and I’m finding it to be more of an ordeal than you would think.

My natural inclination is to lean in to a little humour with these things. I mean, I’m basically writing pornography, I can’t take myself too seriously. That said, I don’t want to kill the mood either.

I’m currently working on the second story in the Garden of Eden series (GOE to you hardcore fans. Hi Mum!) but I’m constantly making notes for future stories. I’ve got a short for the ‘big boobs’ category in the making, I’m thinking; ‘Boom and Bust’? Mr Strange thinks people might not get it. I may have to acquiesce and compromise on ‘Boom and Busty.’ Patent pending!

For October I want to start a tongue-in-cheek erotic horror series where I release a new instalment every Halloween. This has given me endless amusement. Here are a few of my favourites- ‘Screw-me Doo!’ ‘Freddy Screwed ‘er,’ ‘Let Them Both In,’ ‘House of Wanx,’ and ‘The Descent’ seems to work all by itself…

Patent pending x5! And don’t tell me you didn’t think about it, I know you’re checking out my cheesy genius. 😎

Let me know if any of you far more cultured writers have suffered any similar dilemmas in the pursuit of your art.

Until then, remember, don’t read my stuff at work, especially if your operate heavy machinery.

What’s Love Got To Do With It?

Ah, Tina. You were so full of wisdom and hairspray- though I somehow doubt you were pondering the same things as me when you wrote that particular song.

So, I’ve just uploaded my latest story, ‘Her Favourite Teacher,’ and I have to say, it wasn’t what I expected.

When I write a story, I try not to plan it out too thoroughly, preferring instead to have a basic outline and allow it to progress organically. As I get to know my characters, begin to understand their personalities, it affects the storyline. I want to do right by these people I create by letting them lead me in the directions that feel right for them.

Usually, this works very well, and I find that I’m able to predict these directions fairly easily. This story, however, really took me by surprise. When you’re writing a short story, you need to balance storyline, character development, and, of course, detailed sex scenes in a very limited word count. As the story started to unfold, I found the characters had a lot more emotional depth than I expected, and as a result, the two protagonists started to have strong feelings for each other. This was not the outcome I expected for these two, given the circumstances, but if I tried to steer away, it just felt forced and tacky. It begs the question; how much call is there for love in erotica? Apparently, the answer is…some.

So, Her Favourite Teacher was published, a totally different piece than I had anticipated. I almost feel like I got hijacked by my own characters, like a reluctant parent having to stand back and ‘let the kids try it their way.’

Still, I like how it came out. I’ll be interested in people’s reactions to it; the whole thing was a very different style for me, and maybe my subconscious is trying to guide me in to developing my craft a little.

Or maybe I’ll be ostracised and kicked out of the Amazon Erotic Writers club forever!

Nah, probably not. There’s no such thing.

Anyway, if any of you readers decide to give it a go, let me know what you think! Alternatively, The Wife and the Call Girl has just gone on a limited-time free promotion so if school girls aren’t your thing, maybe I can entice you with a little BDSM three-way? In the book of course – not in real life. My husband and I are very busy this weekend.

Remember, tv rots your brain. So, read some erotica instead!

My New Boss

So, since my first story (Devoted) went up for sale and I started my new one (The Wife and the Call Girl) I’ve acquired a brand new boss – my husband.

Mr Strange has assumed the role of my editor and has very much enjoyed cracking the whip in a whole new way.

I’ve found it a very interesting experience having him being in charge of my writing. He’s been very strict in enforcing deadlines and making sure I don’t deviate from my task. None of this has been intended in any kind of sexual way, and yet…

I suppose because of our personal dynamic mixed with the content of my stories, it’s hard not get the lines blurred. I’m finding I respond *very* positively to his guidance in this area, even when I’m a little frustrated at being bossed around. I’m a creative type! We do not deal well with rules.

That said, this unprecedented development has certainly helped to keep me in the right mindset for writing. When you start writing erotica as a way of making an income, it inevitably becomes more of a job than a creative outlet. Luckily, having Mr S assert his authority while I’m working makes me feel like I’m part of my own scene, a story in a story. Ugh, I’m getting a little meta now.

I elude in my work that sub space can almost be a kind of blissful trance, where you stop thinking rationally and allow your arousal to dictate your actions. It’s a wonderful state to be in and it’s a very strange sensation to be gently teased by it in my day-to-day life. It’s definitely fuelling the erotic tone of my writing.

I may have to devise ways to explore this sensation further with Mr Strange – can this new dynamic improve my writing? And how far can I go before I’m just licking my keyboard?

In the meantime, The Wife and the Call Girl is now available on Amazon. Check it out and let me know what you think! I’d love to hear your ideas and feedback.

A warm welcome!

Hi everyone, thanks for stopping by!

So, this will be the first of my blog entries that I will be updating on (hopefully) a weekly basis. These will include updates on book releases, as well as my own experiences and musings on related topics.

I thought I would start this blog by telling you all a few things about myself.

At the risk of depleting my currently mysterious status, I’m a 30-year-old working mother from England. Where in England you ask? Ahhh, I still maintain some mystery.

My passions include my family, obviously writing, and stealing cars. Nah just kidding, I meant sketching. Sketching is third one. I don’t steal cars anymore, I’m a mum.

I consider myself to be quite creative and I leaned towards sexualised Art from my early teens. I identified with BDSM from a young age, though at the time I thought my sexual preference was vampires. It was 2013 okay?!

Anyway, as I got older I began to understand the allure of this kink more and more and began to explore the psychology of it in more depth. This is the inspiration for a lot of my writing, exploring the effects that domination and submission have on our minds as well as our bodies.

I think it’s hot AF but I suppose I might be a little biased.

I’ve always enjoyed the power of written word, I love how a writer can make you laugh, cry, even orgasm without ever even seeing you. My husband convinced me that it was high time I tried fulfilling my dream of publishing something I would never be able to show my parents, and I finally have!

I can’t stop now, I’ve had so much wonderful support and feedback from you readers and my experience so far has been exhilarating!

Stay tuned for updates on future instalments. I’m currently writing ‘The Wife and the Call Girl’ and conducting research for ‘Bound: Garden of Eden 2.’ What research I hear you ask? Well, maybe I’ll tell you all about that another day.

Until then…Don’t tell my Nan!

Take care,

K M Strange

Devoted: Garden of Eden I

My amazon debut available here

Description

Clara Madigan is no Stepford Wife; she’s a kinky, devoted submissive willing to do whatever it takes to please her loving Master and husband, Bear.
Bear adores Clara and has devoted his life to helping her explore her sexuality to its fullest. Even when her own desires seem too much to handle.
But boundaries are tested when Bear takes Clara to the opening of a new Erotic club. Neither of them could have predicted the extraordinary events that unfold at The Garden of Eden. From dominance and submission to acrobatic lesbians, this party will push them both to their limits. And is the charismatic club owner all he appears? Or is there something more hidden beneath the surface?

The Garden of Eden collection blends together suspense, humour and erotic romance. Devoted is part one of five in this collection. The first four parts can each be read as standalone short stories exploring different erotic themes. However, the characters and narrative overlap, until the final part where they culminate in a suspensive and thrilling climax.

These books are contemporary erotic fantasy with explicit sexual content. The Garden of Eden collection covers a wide array of themes including elements of dominance and submission, girl-on-girl, first-time, light-moderate BDSM, power, bondage, forbidden love, age-gap and voyeurism.
